How do we know God exists? Where did I come from? If God is love, why is there evil in this world? Is Jesus the only way to heaven? Why do I need a savior? Is there more to life than what I see?
All good questions. We understand that there are many questions regarding true, Biblical Christianity. Thankfully, we have the Bible which gives us all the answers we need to receive salvation, inherit the promises, and learn to live for the glory of God and for that which is to come.

Is the Bible trustworthy?
At New Bethel Fellowship, we believe that the Bible is the inerrent and infallible revelation of Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, to mankind. We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

What is sin and why is it so bad?
The Bible teaches us that sin is breaking God's laws and commandments. It is not a minor thing. The God of heaven and earth is holy and clothed in holiness. That means He is perfect in all His ways. There is no sin in Him. This is who He is. Sin cannot dwell with holiness. It is like painting with mud on a bright white wall. It stains it and ruins it. Sin does the same to you and me. It is a stain that cannot be cleaned away by our own works. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. We earn it, and that death separates us from God.

Who is Jesus?
He is the answer for sin. Where sin abounded, grace abounded more. The Jesus of the Bible, whom we follow and serve, is the only begotten Son of God, and He was sent from heaven to bear the sins of the world that all who might believe in His name would be forgiven of their sins and inherit eternal life.
We believe that He was with God in the beginning. We believe that He was manifested in the flesh, was born of a virgin, lived a life free from sin, died on a Cross bearing the sins of the world, was resurrected the third day, ascended into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. We believe in a literal Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ where He will rule the nations with a rod of iron. We believe that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the only way to heaven, and in Him is life and that life is the light of men.
